About APattaya: a French beginning, an international guide
How APattaya covers travel, local life and nightlife, distinguishes sources from experience, and relates to the independent KKB project.
Who this guide is for
APattaya began as a French-language project. Its new guide puts English first while retaining French, Russian, Thai and Chinese sections. Visitors planning a short trip and residents arranging everyday life need different information. Both should be able to find clear explanations without confusing a tourism article, an old announcement and a commercial offer.
What we have checked โ and what we have not
Official institutions support administrative and travel facts; medical information uses health authorities and established clinical sources. Practical checklists are editorial suggestions. A sourced article is not proof of a personal visit, medical review or official endorsement. When current operation cannot be confirmed, a former business listing stays clearly historical. Corrections should identify the page and provide evidence.
Local connections and Kun Khmer
The publisher is based in Battambang and regularly spends time in the Pattaya area. The related Kun Khmer Boxing project explains the interest in training, health and exchanges between Cambodia and Thailand. That connection does not make every business featured here a partner. Community projects and any paid travel services must have their own clear terms.
Commercial transparency
Some future or clearly marked links may generate a commission. A commission is not a safety rating or a promise of the lowest price. A booking is only confirmed by the responsible provider under its terms. Sponsored placements should be labelled; a request for information is not payment or confirmation. Health and identity articles are informational and do not sell surgery.
